Children

The Children's Ministry here at Watonga Christian Church desires to give your children a strong foundation concerning Christian education. We feel that education in the church should be as important if not more important than any other type of education. We promise sound Christian teaching, fun & relevant activities, all in a loving enviroment.

Here is what we have for your children.

Sunday Mornings:
9:45 Sunday School - We have great teachers who are ready to care for your child and teach them the importance of Christ and the Bible.
Brenda teaches the 4 & 5 year old class. She absolutely loves this age, and in the same way, the kids just love Brenda.

1st and 2nd grade students get to be with Harriette. She also enjoys being with this age of children. When her students enter their class, they are sure to be greeted with a smile and a warm "Hello".

The 3rd and 4th grade class is taught by Loretta. Her students just love her... Even after they have left her class, they want to be with her just a little longer.

As of right now the 5th grade class meets with the middle school class. Hopefully by the beginning of the next school year we will have a new 5th and 6th grade class.

During church we also have a Children's Church time. We do this during the message time. This way both the children and the adults get a message at their own level. This is put on by different people, so your child will receive a different style lesson every week.

Wednesday - We have our After School Program. This program starts rught after school and ends at 5pm. Our church vans go to the school and pick up the students and the parents come and sign out their child when they leave. This is designed for students in kindergarten through 5th grade. We have a lesson time, snack time and a game time.
