The Watonga Christian Church believes that serving people is an essential part of being a Christian (Matthew 20:28). So we make Christian service easy with a variety of ministry opportunities.
CWF (Christian Women's Fellowship)

This a great way for women of all ages to come together for Bible study, fellowship, and opportunities for ministry. CWF meets the first Wednesday of every month at 7:00 pm in the church fellowship hall except during summer).


Nursing Home Ministry

This takes place at the local nursing home. We meet there every second Sunday at 3:00 pm. This is a time of worship and a short devotion. After the devotion we spend time with some of the residents of the home listening to their stories and just being there with them. This is a very easy ministry, but it is also one of the most rewarding due to the lack of attention most elderly people receive from those outside of the home itself.


Drama Team 

If you like to perform in front of an audience, this is a fun ministry! This is a chance for you to use your God-given talents to minister to people through acting. We do both serious and  humorous skits, and even monologues. If you enjoy taking the message of God and making it relevant for everyone, then this ministry is for you.


Choir

This is an opportunity to use the voice that God gave you to lift up praise to His name. No one said that you need to have a good voice to be in choir... all you need is a heart for worship!.
